James Frew

I've been practicing Bikram yoga for 8 years after a co-worker recommended it to me.

I was looking for something to balance out the stress and pressure of my job and to find healing for a knee injury and digestive problems. I found that and much more in Bikram Yoga. I found 90 minutes of meditation. I found a supportive community. I found a challenging exercise. I found compassion for others and myself.

My best advice for Bikram beginners: Listen carefully word-by-word and just do your best, strive for progress, not perfection.
